A new season of Survivor premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 26, with a new group of castaways ready to compete in one of the toughest games on television. After a two-month hiatus, the long-running reality series returns to Fiji’s stunning Mamanuca Islands for the 15th consecutive season, with original host Jeff Probst hosting the reality series again. Season 48 will feature 18 new contestants ready to face food deprivation, harsh elements, and challenging tasks for the chance to be crowned the sole survivor and increase their bank accounts by $1 million. This season’s cast includes a stunt performer, a Florida flight attendant, a surgeon, and more.
“This latest group of players must form a new society and nimbly adapt to their surroundings while contending with unforeseen obstacles and navigating an increasingly complex social game,” CBS wrote in a press release.
The exciting new season premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+. As you tune in, read on to learn all about the Season 48 castaways, including their age, hometown, current residence, and occupation.

The long-running CBS reality show returns Wednesday, as 18 new castaways hit the beach, all with the goal of winning $1 million and the title of Sole Survivor.
Here’s what time the season premiere airs and how to watch it.
The season 48 premiere of “Survivor,” titled “The Get to Know You Game,” airs Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Episodes will be available to stream on Paramount+, live and on demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs.

Wednesday’s episode of “Survivor” will air for two hours, from 8-10 p.m. ET. Ensuing episodes are 90 minutes.
Who will be the Sole Survivor? Here’s the cast for the 48th season of “Survivor.”
There will once again be three tribes of six players to begin the game. The names of the tribes are Vula, Lagi and Civa.
For the past 15 seasons, “Survivor” has been filmed in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands. The TV show previously took contestants to remote locations around the world.
Jeff Probst, the four-time Emmy Award winner, is the longtime host of the show. He has hosted all 48 seasons of “Survivor,” which has been on air since 2000. He also serves as an executive producer.
How long will Probst host the show? In a recent interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” the longtime host said he has plans to slow down.
