
Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns to miss Warriors matchup for personal reasons with return date uncertain

The Knicks will be without one of their top stars against the Warriors.
Karl-Anthony Towns will miss Tuesday night’s game at the Garden due to personal reasons, head coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters.
Thibodeau, when asked if Towns would travel with the Knicks to Los Angeles — where they play a back-to-back against the Lakers and Clippers on Thursday and Friday — said he still does not know.

Towns, an All-Star during his first season with the Knicks, has averaged 24.5 points, 13.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists this year.
