All three editions hit the shelves on Sept. 30 and will allow fans to revisit the iconic story about star-crossed lovers Edward Cullen, a vampire, and Bella Swan, a reclusive teenager, with delightful new imagery and interactive elements.

First up is the Twilight: Deluxe Collector’s Edition. The hardcover edition features a vintage-inspired design with foil-stamped slipcase; a ribbon marker; gorgeous new art adorning the cover, interiors and endpapers; and a one-of-a- kind interactive edge design, according to the publisher.

The last item is for the most dedicated fans — no matter if you’re Team Jacob or Team Edward. The Twilight Saga Deluxe Hardcover Collection is a box set that includes the original four Twilight books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, as well as Meyer’s Midnight Sun, which retells the story of the first novel through Edward’s perspective.

The new collection features exclusive wraparound box art, new jacket art and stained edges on each book.

As she looks ahead to the new editions’ release, Meyer reflected on the series’ legacy. “It’s amazing to me that it has been two decades since Twilight was released into the world, but it’s also amazing that is has been ONLY two decades,” she said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “The success of Twilight has changed my life in so many ways!”

“One thing that has not changed is how much gratitude I feel toward my readers. They have been the best part of this experience from the first year until the 20th. Because people gave my stories a chance, I was able to write for a living — a true dream,” the author continued. “The amount of validation and support I’ve felt from my readers over the years is something I’ll never stop being thankful for.”

The first book of the series was originally published in October 2005. From there, Meyer released a new installment each year, culminating in 2008’s Breaking Dawn. Midnight Sun followed in 2020.

Additional releases in the Twilight franchise include The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide and Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined.

The series was famously adapted into a movie series that released from 2008 to 2012 with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Little Brown Books For Yonug Readers President and Publisher Megan Tingley, who’s also the editor who acquired Twilight, commended Meyers’ “masterful storytelling” in a statement about the new editions. “The powerful legacy she has created is evident in the robust market for fantasy and romance fiction we are experiencing today. It was an absolute joy to bring her design vision to life in these exquisite anniversary editions.”

Twilight has continued to make headlines over the decades. In January, the vampire franchise released a 2,001-piece LEGO set of the iconic Cullen home, and in December 2024, the owners of a home that was featured in the movie series listed it on Airbnb.

In November 2024, it was reported that Midnight Sun would be adapted into an animated series for Netflix. Per Variety, the project was confirmed to be in early development in April 2023 with Lionsgate Television. Michael Burns, Vice Chairman of Lionsgate, announced that the series would be animated in March 2024.

The 20th special editions of Twilight will all come out on Sept. 30 and are available for preorder now, wherever books are sold.

Hold on tight, spider monkey, because 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the first Twilight book. On September 27, 2005, author Stephenie Meyer brought Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black into the world, changing the preexisting attitude toward vampirism in pop culture into something sexier, younger, and sparklier. Though the first Twilight movie didn’t actually come out until three years after the book’s publication, we’re taking this opportunity to commemorate the birth of the mythical, brooding cultural phenomenon by looking back at one of the most iconic features of the movies—and no, we’re not talking about the amazing soundtracks or the animatronic vampire baby Renesmee. We’re talking about the homes in the Twilight movies.

From the humble Swan residence to the modern glass Cullen house, the homes featured in all five of the Twilight movies are often talked about to this day, even though the main series ended more than a decade ago. Even Lego recently released a toy version of the Cullen house! So what makes these houses so special? For one thing, you can still visit many of them and keep the spirit of the story alive.

Continue scrolling to read all about some of the most iconic places of residence in the Twilight movies—and find out which ones are still standing today and which were just sets. We can’t promise this breakdown will help you determine if you’re Team Jacob or Team Edward, but it’ll definitely show you which house you’d rather live in for all eternity.

While all four of the Twilight books are set in the small, rainy town of Forks, Washington, the site of Bella’s house in the films is actually St. Helens, Oregon. The 1930s white clapboard house is two stories tall, and Bella’s bedroom (you know, where Edward would sneak in and watch her sleep) is on the top floor.

The Swan house is now an AirBNB you can rent out for a few nights if you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation. The owner of the home has kept the interior as screen accurate as possible, as you can see from the listing photos, with modest, dated furniture and even Bella’s original bedspread. (Fun fact: This purple comforter was available at Target when the movie came out, and my sister bought it for her room.)

While Bella’s bedding has been retired and is now on display along with other movie- and book-related memorabilia in the home, the reviews speak for themselves: It’s clearly worth a trip to gloomy St. Helens for a chance to sleep in Bella’s childhood room.

The Cullen residence is undoubtedly the most iconic of the homes featured in the Twilight films, due to its modern, Frank Lloyd Wright–esque exterior and sleek interior. In the context of the story, the house itself is kind of a joke since almost half of the walls are glass, and anyone who’s familiar with the books or movies knows that Meyer’s vampires sparkle in the sunlight. Hence why the Cullen family moved to rainy Forks, Washington, to begin with.

In reality, this elegant, open home is located on the edge of Forest Park in Portland, Oregon, and is known as the Hoke House. It was designed by Skylab Architecture and is three stories tall with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and a five-car garage. In the Twilight universe, vampires can’t sleep, eat, or drink, so the bedrooms are just for show. After the first movie, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, different properties were used for the interior in the other films, but this exterior stuck.

While this home is very real and still standing, it is privately owned, so you can’ just go up to it and visit it. However, that doesn’t stop fans from driving by to hopefully get a glimpse of Edward playing the piano for Bella, Alice Cullen exploring the surrounding forest with her adoptive brother slash lover Jasper Cullen, or Jacob imprinting on newborn baby Renesmee.

We only get a glimpse of Jacob and his father Billy Black’s house in the second Twilight movie, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. In the book, it’s described as a resembling a tiny barn, with dull red paint covering the wooden exterior and narrow windows. In short, it’s the complete opposite of Edward’s glass mansion.

The Black home is canonically located in LaPush, Washington, since Forks is part of the Cullens’ territory, but the actual home is located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. It is a private residence, but it’s close enough to the road for dedicated fans to easily drive by if they choose to. It’s down the road from Minnekhada Regional Park, which is where some scenes were filmed for the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

The Volturi are the most powerful coven in the Twilight universe who create and enforce the vampiric laws. The coven is made up of five core members—Aro, Caius, Marcus, Sulpicia, and Athenodora—who all live in the ancient village of Volterra, Italy. We’re first introduced to the Volturi in the second book, New Moon. In the books, the Volturi live in a medieval palace that’s built into the walls of the city with one prominent turret, which houses the throne room, that rises above the rest of the roofline. The living quarters are below ground, and there are tunnels that run under the city for coven members to travel around unseen.

In the movie, we see the extravagant throne room that the main coven members rest in, with beautiful pillars, stone channeling, and a stunning domed roof. This interior, unfortunately, is not real. It was a set built in the Vancouver Film Studios, according to Rotten Tomatoes. However, the exterior of the Volturi palace, where possibly the most important scene in The Twilight Saga: New Moon takes place, is very real and can be visited today.

In the second movie, we mainly see what’s meant to be Volterra square, outside the palace. This is where Bella runs through a crowd of people and into a fountain to save Edward from stepping into the sunlight, revealing himself to be a shimmering vampire. They filmed this scene in Montepulciano, Italy, specifically the Piazza Grande and the Palazzo Comunale. The production team had to build the fountain in the middle of the square specifically for this scene, so it’s no longer there, but you can easily visit this filming location if you make it to the Siena province of Italy.

For Bella’s 19th birthday, after she and Edward get married in the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, Alice (Edward’s adoptive sister) and Esme Cullen (Edward’s adoptive maternal figure) purchase the rundown cottage that’s conveniently located behind the main Cullen house and redecorate it for the newlyweds. In the book, Bella describes the stone exterior as being covered in lattice and honeysuckle, with thick wood shingles on the roof and late summer roses in the front garden. The path that led to the arched, wooden front door was made of flat stones. In reality, this cottage doesn’t exist.

That’s right—this fairy-tale cottage is a set that was taken down after filming wrapped. The crew shot most of scenes in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 in Vancouver, Canada, and in Raleigh Studios in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. So it’s very likely that either this entire cottage was built in the filming studio or the exterior was built and shot in Vancouver while the interior was shot in studio.

In the books, Isle Esme is a private island off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, given to Esme by Carlisle Cullen (Edward’s paternal figure and head of the Cullen clan). It’s meant to be a spot where the vampires can bask in the sun without fear of mortals seeing them sparkle. Edward and Bella go to the island for their honeymoon, where they’re greeted by a resort-like home, decorated in a bright and airy aesthetic with a light color palette.

The good news? It’s a real place located in the town of Paraty, Brazil. The lavish home is only accessible via helicopter or boat, and while it used to be available to rent on Vrbo, that is unfortunately no longer the case. The gorgeous home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and is decorated with nature-inspired decor.
