This just in: The latest addition to LEGO’s Architecture line is a highly-detailed version of Italy’s iconic Trevi Fountain. Yes, the landmark has been available as a LEGO set in the past, but that one featured a far simpler design and was retired nearly a decade ago.

This new and improved 2025 version released on March 1 and focuses on the intricate details that make the fountain so beloved. It makes a great gift for history buffs and travel lovers.

The miniature model of the Baroque fountain features the facade’s backdrop, minifigures that have been turned into statues, Corinthian-style columns, and a small “Lovers” Fountain. Our favorite details are the mini hippocampi made using off-white horse heads and the cascading water made from translucent bricks.

This new version of the Roman monument contains 1,880 pieces and is designed for display. LEGO sets like this one are crafted for ages 18 or older — and while the number of pieces may seem overwhelming, the step-by-step instruction book will make putting it together a snap.

Once finished, the fountain stands over 10 inches tall by 15 inches wide. It doesn’t come with a coin to toss in for good luck, but LEGO has a site dedicated to individual pieces for purchase. If you want to customize your finished product, this gold disc or this circular brick would do the trick.
