MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — There are 13,988 residents without power on Thursday morning in the Myrtle Beach area due to a transmission outage, according to Santee Cooper.
A social media post from Santee Cooper states that crews are en route to the scene.

According to Santee Cooper, a vehicle hit a pole near the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
They are switching to get customers’ power back on as soon as possible until the structure can be repaired.
