The Beaverton School District and the Beaverton Education Association have finally reached a deal after negotiating for a year.
Officials say the three-year contract was unanimously approved by the board Tuesday night after being ratified last week.
It includes increases to cost-of-living adjustments and employer health insurance contributions.
The union says more than 93% of members approved of it.

Beaverton school board approves new union contract
After a year in negotiations, the Beaverton School District and the Beaverton Education Association have formally approved a new union contract.
The Beaverton School District Board, in a unanimous vote Tuesday evening, Feb. 11, approved a contract agreement with the Beaverton Education Association.
The district’s stamp of approved concludes a yearlong labor negotiation that began February 2024.
