Who is that ‘White Lotus’ star? The full Season 3 Thailand cast and how you know them
It’s time to check in again with “The White Lotus.”
Writer, director and executive producer Mike White has reconvened the Emmy-winning series for a new murder mystery in opulence. Season 1 brought viewers to the White Lotus luxury resort in Hawaii, followed by Season 2 in Italy. Season 3 explores the tropical Thailand island of Ko Samui, starting Feb. 16 (HBO 9 EST/PST, and streaming on Max).
The tragic Tanya McQuoid (immortally played by Jennifer Coolidge) is not billed to make a miraculous reappearance after starring in both past seasons. However, Season 3 features the return of Natasha Rothwell as Belinda Lindsey, the visiting spa manager from the Hawaiian White Lotus.
Rothwell joins a cast that includes Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Michelle Monaghan. Here’s a who’s-who of the star-studded Season 3 crew.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Not Surprised by Son Patrick’s ‘White Lotus’ Nude Scene: ‘Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree’
By Jack Dunn
Arnold Schwarzenegger was completely unfazed watching his son Patrick Schwarzenegger‘s nude scene at the Monday night premiere of “The White Lotus” Season 3.
“I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate [Patrick Schwarzenegger] at the ‘White Lotus’ Season 3 premiere,” the “Predator” star wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday – trust me.”
In the new season of the HBO drama, Patrick Schwarzenegger plays Saxon, the son of a wealthy Southern family. Other cast members include Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Tayme Thapthimthong, Lek Patravadi, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Julian Kostov, Leslie Bibb, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Arnas Fedaravičius, Natasha Rothwell, Dom Hetrakul and Blackpink member Lisa.
Variety exclusively reported that “White Lotus” had been greenlit for a fourth season ahead of the Season 3 premiere. After Season 2 ended, series creator Mike White mused that the third season “would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at ‘White Lotus.’”
Variety‘s TV critic Alison Herman described “White Lotus” Season 3 as “quite literally the biggest yet,” noting a significant uptick in production value. She writes, “Season 3 of ‘The White Lotus’ may boast the most spectacular location yet, augmented by off-property adventures in Bangkok, at dance clubs and on palatial yachts — the kind of expensive, extra-crowded environments that were a distant dream back in the [Season 1] Hawai’i days.”

Patrick Schwarzenegger Shares Video of Tearful Moment He Told His Family He Landed His White Lotus Role: ‘I Started Crying’
The actor and his fiancée, Abby Champion, broke the casting news to his mom Maria Shriver and sister Katherine Schwarzenegger in the video
PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER/INSTAGRAM
Patrick Schwarzenegger shed tears of joy and relief after revealing to his loved ones that he had landed a role in The White Lotus season 3.
The actor, 31, shared a video of the emotional moment on Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 16. In the footage — which was shot a few weeks after his 2023 engagement to fiancée Abby Champion — he spills the casting news to his mom, Maria Shriver, and his sister Katherine Schwarzenegger.
“At first, I was told I had to keep it a secret, but my family kept noticing me acting weird,” he wrote on Instagram. “Maria thought Abby and I were pregnant 🤣. She might have been happier than I was!! And then I started crying. She did. Katherine did. Was a domino effect. Mind you this was in a restaurant with other people lol.”
Patrick previously told PEOPLE for February’s digital cover that finding out he secured a main cast role on the hit HBO anthology series “was the greatest day in history for me” — but he had to keep it secret.
“Obviously I’m going to tell my fiancée because we got engaged the week before, and I was like, ‘Sorry, I’m leaving for seven months [to film in Thailand].’ So that was perfect timing,” he told PEOPLE with a laugh. “Then I went and had lunch with my whole family the week later, and I told them.”
Patrick also recalled watching the first two seasons of The White Lotus with his family and how they nudged him to audition for the third season, which premieres on Sunday, Feb. 16.
“Every time we would watch the show … my mom was always like, ‘Why haven’t you auditioned for this? Why didn’t you go out for this?’ And my sister’s like, ‘You need to call your agents right now. This is ridiculous that you’re not in on the show, that you didn’t even audition,‘ ” he added.

He later received an email to audition, but “didn’t tell anybody because I was like, ‘Whatever, everyone’s going to go out for this show. I have such a sliver of a chance to get a call back,‘ ” he remembered thinking.
In season 3, Patrick plays Saxon Ratliff, the eldest son of Timothy (played by Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Parker Posey), who works for his father’s company. Along with Saxon’s siblings (Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola), the family of five are among the guests vacationing at a resort in Thailand who experience trouble in paradise.
Patrick told PEOPLE that Saxon is a “complete flirt” and an “alpha male.”

The cast and Patrick’s family, including famous father Arnold Schwarzenegger, celebrated the new season at the Los Angeles premiere at Paramount Theatre on Feb. 10.
After the event, Arnold posted an Instagram photo of the family together on the red carpet and poked fun at his son’s nude scene in the show.
“What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Arnold, 77, wrote in the caption. “Don’t miss it this Sunday — trust me.”
