Clippers vs. Jazz odds, score prediction, time: 2025 NBA picks, February 13 best bets from proven model
We’ve got another exciting Western Conference contest on Thursday’s NBA schedule right before the NBA All-Star Break as the Utah Jazz will host the Los Angeles Clippers. Utah is 13-40 overall and 6-18 at home, while Los Angeles is 30-23 overall and 11-13 on the road. The Clippers are 3-0 against the Jazz this season, winning all three games by more than 10 points with an average margin of victory of 22.7 points. Kawhi Leonard (rest) is out for the Clippers, and Collin Sexton (ankle) is out for the Jazz.
Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. ET from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The Clippers are 9.5-point favorites in the latest Jazz vs. Clippers odds, according to the SportsLine consensus. The over/under is 225 points. Before entering any Clippers vs. Jazz picks, you’ll want to see the NBA predictions from the model at SportsLine.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in betting profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past six-plus seasons. The model enters Week 17 of the 2024-25 NBA season on a sizzling 147-104 roll on all top-rated NBA picks dating back to last season, returning nearly $4,000. It’s also an outstanding 18-9 (67%) on top-rated spread picks this season. Anyone following at sportsbooks and on betting apps could have seen huge returns.
The model has set its sights on Los Angeles vs. Utah. You can head to SportsLine to see its picks. Here are several NBA betting lines for Jazz vs. Clippers:
The Clippers are sixth in the Western Conference at 30-23 overall, but they’ve been even more dominant against the spread (ATS) this season. Los Angeles is 32-21 ATS this year, and it has covered the spread in 10 of the last 11 games it’s won straight up. The Clippers have been consistently outperforming even the oddsmakers’ expectations in their victories, and they are 3-0 in the win-loss column and ATS against the Jazz this season. Two of their three wins against the Jazz have come by at least 20 points, including a 130-110 victory in Los Angeles on Saturday in their most recent matchup.
The Clippers are coming off a 128-114 victory over the Grizzlies on Wednesday for back-to-back victories after dropping three straight games. Leonard had 25 points with James Harden and Norman Powell each adding 18 points. Leonard (rest) is out Thursday though. Harden had 10 assists in his third straight double-double as the soon-to-be 11-time All-Star is averaging 19 points and 10.6 assists over five games in February. See which team to pick here.
Although the Clippers have been one of the top ATS this season, one of the few trends they’ve struggled with is in the second half of a back-to-back. The Clippers are 4-6 ATS in the second half of a back-to-back this season, and they are also 4-5 ATS as an away favorite. Meanwhile, the Jazz are coming off one of their most impressive victories of the season as they knocked off the Lakers, 131-119, on Wednesday despite being 9-point underdogs. Lauri Markkanen had 32 points in the victory.
The Jazz shot 52.3% from the field against the Lakers on Wednesday, including Walker Kessler going a perfect 8 of 8 from the field for 16 points. Jordan Clarkson added 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Keyonte George had 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. See which team to pick here.
The model has simulated Jazz vs. Clippers 10,000 times and the results are in. The model is leaning Over, and it’s also generated a point-spread pick that is hitting in well over 60% of simulations. You can only see the pick at SportsLine.
So who wins Clippers vs. Jazz, and which side of the spread hits well over 60% of the time? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the Jazz vs. Clippers spread you need to jump on, all from the model that is on a 147-104 roll on top-rated NBA picks since last season, and find out.

The LA Clippers (30-23) and Utah Jazz (13-40) meet Thursday at Delta Center. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Clippers vs. Jazz odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: Clippers lead 3-0
The Clippers made it 2 straight wins Wednesday, taking down the Memphis Grizzlies 128-114. LA covered the spread as a 6-point home favorite and the Over (235.5) cashed. LA dominated inside, outscoring Memphis 58-44 in the paint and forcing 22 turnovers. F Kawhi Leonard led with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, while G James Harden nearly notched a triple-double with 18 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.
The Jazz snapped a 3-game skid Wednesday, upsetting the Los Angeles Lakers 131-119. Utah prevailed as a 9-point home underdog and the Over (235.5) hit. The Jazz controlled the paint, outscoring the Lakers 54-36 inside. F Lauri Markkanen scored a game-high 32 points, including a 6-for-10 performance from deep. G Jordan Clarkson contributed 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. It was a strong bounce-back win for the Jazz, who lost to the Lakers 132-113 on the front end of the home-and-away series Monday as 12-point road ‘dogs — the Over (235) hit in this one, too.

Clippers 127, Jazz 112
PASS.
The Clippers (-400) will remain undefeated against the Jazz (+310) this season, but the price is too steep. I’ll take the better odds with the spread.
BET CLIPPERS -9.5 (-105).
The Clippers have owned the Jazz this season, winning and covering all 3 matchups. No reason that changes Thursday. Sure, this one’s in Utah, but the Jazz are just 6-18 at home. Utah has lost 12 of its last 15, giving up 128.8 points per game over the last 5.
The Clippers, who are healthy and gearing up for a playoff push. have scored 128 and 130 in their last 2 games.
The Jazz just don’t have the firepower to keep up with Leonard, Harden and company. Five days ago (Saturday), they lost by 20 (130-110) at the Clippers, who covered as 17.5-point favorites.
With Utah struggling defensively, this one has all the makings of another lopsided LA win.
BET OVER 225.5 (-110).
The Over has hit in 2 of 3 meetings between these teams, and recent trends point to another high-scoring game. The Clippers have gone Over in 7 of their last 10, while the Jazz have hit the Over in 5 straight. With LA’s firepower and Utah’s defensive woes, expect plenty of points.

Jazz Square Off Against Clippers: Injury Report, Start Time and Game Preview
Following a 131-119 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Utah Jazz will welcome a second team from the City of Angels into the Delta Center as the entity carrying James Harden’s beard and the Clippers make the trip to Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Clippers are enjoying a productive season, despite the relative absence of Kawhi Leonard. James Harden, even at 35 years of age, is still stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis and is leading this team to continued relevance, even if their championship window essentially closed upon the departure of Paul George.
Though Utah may not boast “The Wall” of the newly-erected Intuit Dome, Will Hardy and the Jazz saw the Lakers hit a wall of sorts on Wednesday night with Utah pushing their lead over Doncic and company to a high of 25 points.
Likewise, Utah may not have a former MVP or All-Star player this season, but rookie point guard Isaiah Collier is averaging 9.8 assists per night in February — a number that would exceed Harden’s output were it not for the Beard’s 17-assist outburst against… the Utah Jazz. Huh.
This is a matchup that remains in the Jazz’ best interest to lose, considering the draft odds at stake, but with a “tanking is not in my vocabulary” mindset from head coach Will Hardy and his roster, this will not be a battle that the boys in black statement uniforms intend to drop.
Following a 7-point, 3-steal night in his return to the lineup on Wednesday, Cody Williams’ production could be an interesting story in tonight’s matchup. Like an indecisive baby bird, Williams often hesitates before making a move to the hoop, or a shot at the basket. More deliberate aggression could elevate the rookie’s output, and he could benefit from some self-affirmation.
Injury Report – Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers
Utah Jazz:
Collin Sexton (Game-time Decision)
KJ Martin (Game-time Decision)
Taylor Hendricks (Out)
Los Angeles Clippers:
Kawhi Leonard (Out)
Drew Eubanks (Out)
Ben Simmons (Game-time Decision)
Khris Dunn (Game-time Decision)
A “Welcome Back” party for several former Jazzmen, including Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills who will be with the Clippers tonight, along with Khris Dunn, who enjoyed a career resurgence in Utah last season.
Ben Simmons, a figure who evokes hostile feelings in Utah thanks to a heated Rookie-of-the-Year race with Donovan Mitchell in 2018, was recently claimed on the buyout market by his new squad and could see his debut with the team tonight.
After a dominant home win against the Lakers, Utah will face several reality checks on Thursday night against the Western Conference 6th-seed.
Can Lauri Markkanen build off a highly efficient scoring night on Wednesday? Will Walker Kessler dominate the paint against Zubac? Can the Jazz’ rapidly ascending duo of George and Collier cancel out the production of James Harden and Norm Powell?
This game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. in the Delta Center and be televised on KJZZ and SEG+.
