Jerami Grant (R Knee Soreness)

After practice Wednesday afternoon, Portland head coach Chauncey Billups was optimistic Henderson, Grant and Williams would be available to play Thursday, but he stopped short of making it a guarantee.
“I think all of them are playing,” Billups said. “But again, a lot can happen. I’m not stamping that.”
Henderson missed one game before the break — as well as Friday’s Rising Stars Challenge — due to a right ankle sprain. Grant and Williams missed the last two games in Denver before the break. Both players have been dealing with right knee soreness.
The Blazers will tip off against the Lakers Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific.

The Portland Trail Blazers returned to practice Tuesday following the All-Star break to prepare for Thursday’s home game against the Los Angeles Lakers at 7 p.m.
On the court were Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant and Robert Williams III, a good sign considering all three entered the break on the team’s injury list.
Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said he expected all three to play against the Lakers as long as they remain good to go for Wednesday’s practice.
“We’ll see if they are sore or anything,” Billups said. “But we went pretty hard. We got after it pretty good.”
Guard Matisse Thybulle.
“Tisse did non-contact stuff,” Billups said. “We had a good day.”

Henderson sprained his right ankle Feb. 10 during a loss at Denver, causing him to miss Wednesday’s loss at the Nuggets. He was listed as day-to-day entering the break.
Grant and Williams missed both games at Denver with right knee soreness.
Center Deandre Ayton will miss at least three more weeks with a left calf injury, which occurred Wednesday at Denver.
