UTA Signs ‘Severance’ Star Tramell Tillman (EXCLUSIVE)

UTA has signed acclaimed stage and screen actor Tramell Tillman for representation in all areas.

Tillman has earned SAG and Independent Spirit Award nominations for his fan-favorite performance as Mr. Milchick on the hit Apple TV+ series “Severance” – which has broken records as the platform’s most watched series – starring Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette and John Turturro.

He will next be seen in Christopher McQuarrie’s highly anticipated “Mission: Impossible 8” alongside Tom Cruise.

Tillman’s television credits include AMC’s “Dietland,” created by Marti Noxon and starring Julianna Margulies and Joy Nash, as well as “Godfather of Harlem” opposite Forest Whitaker. He also appeared in Amazon’s “Hunters,” starring Al Pacino and Logan Lerman, and had a recurring role in Hulu/Marvel’s animated series “Hit-Monkey.

His film credits include HBO Max’s “Sweethearts,” starring Kiernan Shipka and Nico Hiraga, as well as “Barron’s Cove,” in which he stars alongside Garrett Hedlund, Brittany Snow and Hamish Linklater.

On stage, Tillman most recently performed at MCC Theater in “Shit. Meet. Fan.,” directed by Robert O’Hara, alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Debra Messing, Jane Krakowski, Constance Wu and Garret Dillahunt. Prior to that, he starred opposite Sean Hayes in “Good Night, Oscar” at the Goodman Theatre, originating the role of Alvin and serving as a creative consultant for the Broadway production. His Broadway debut was in “The Great Society” at the Vivian Beaumont Theater with Brian Cox, following his performance in “Carmen Jones” at CSC alongside Anika Noni Rose. A longtime company member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, he played a key role in launching Lynn Nottage’s Tony-nominated “Sweat,” later reprising his lead role at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.

He will continue to be represented by Principal Entertainment, Jill Fritzo PR, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman Wertheimer Mandelbaum Morris Bernstein Trattner Auerbach Hynick Jaime LeVine Sample & Klein.
