WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is set to deliver his first congressional address of his second term Tuesday night.
First Lady Melania Trump will be at the address on Tuesday. It’s unclear if the rest of his family will be in attendance.
Here’s a look at the Trump family:

Melania Trump, 54, is Trump’s third and current wife. She’s a former model from Yugoslavia, and the second foreign-born first lady of the United States (the first was Louisa Adams.)
They married in 2005, and Melania became a naturalized citizen in 2006.
Melania released a self-titled memoir late last year and will be the subject of a documentary distributed by Amazon Prime Video that is expected to be released later this year.
The backstory:
During Trump’s first presidency, Melania spent the first few months at the family’s Manhattan penthouse so that 11-year-old Barron wouldn’t have to switch schools in the middle of the year. After moving to the White House, she traveled around the United States and to other countries, alone and with Trump, partly to promote her “Be Best” children’s initiative while fiercely guarding her privacy.
Victor Knavs, 80, is Melania Trump’s father. At Trump’s inauguration parade at Capital One Arena Monday evening, he was seated next to Barron Trump, Trump’s youngest child and Knavs’ grandson.
Melania Trump’s parents, Victor and Amalija Knavs, are from a small town in Slovenia. They relocated permanently to the U.S. following Melania’s marriage to Donald Trump and became citizens in 2018. Viktor was a chauffeur and car salesmen and Amalija worked as a patternmaker.
Amalija died in January 2024 at the age of 78.
Ivana Marie Trump was Trump’s first wife, from 1977 to 1990. She was a fashion model and businesswoman from Czechoslovakia, and became a citizen in 1988. She died in 2022 at the age of 73, and was buried at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Bedminster, New Jersey. Together, they had Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.
Marla Maples and Donald Trump were married from 1993 to 1999. She was an actress and model. Together, they had Tiffany Trump.

Donald Jr. is Trump’s oldest son. Don Jr. campaigned for his father in 2016 and 2020.
His influence has grown to the point that he lobbied his father to choose close friend JD Vance for vice president. He also pushed for former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the president-elect’s picks for director of national intelligence and health and human services, respectively. Trump Jr. helps run the family real estate business and is an honorary chairman of Trump’s transition. He has a podcast and has said his role is to prevent “bad actors” from getting into the administration. He recently flew on his father’s airplane to Greenland; the president-elect has expressed a desire to take control of the mineral-rich Danish territory.
Don Jr. has five children — or “smurfs,” as he sometimes refers to them — with his former wife, Vanessa Trump. They are Kai Madison, 17; Donald John III, 15; Tristan Milos, 13; Spencer Frederick, 12; and Chloe Sophia Trump, 10.

Ivanka Trump worked in the White House as a senior adviser during Trump’s first term. She was on the campaign trail in 2020, too, but she and her family moved to Florida and retreated from the spotlight after his loss.
As Trump geared up for the 2024 run, Ivanka announced that she loved and supported him but was getting out of politics to focus on her husband and their three kids. She did, however, join her father and other family members on election night and when he rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange in early December after Time magazine named him Person of the Year. She told “The Skinny Confidential” podcast that this time around she just wanted to “show up for him as a daughter” and be there to watch a movie or a sports game.
Ivanka and her husband have three children: Arabella Rose, 13; Joseph Frederick, 11; and Theodore James Kushner, 8.

Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, was a key figure in Trump’s 2016 campaign. He joined his wife in the White House as a senior adviser, a role that included working on U.S. policy toward Israel and the broader Middle East.
This time around, he has stepped out of the political spotlight — but his father could soon step in. Trump announced after the election that he intends to nominate Charles Kushner, a real estate developer, to be U.S. ambassador to France. The elder Kushner was pardoned by Trump in December 2020 after he pleaded guilty years earlier to tax evasion and making illegal campaign contributions.

Eric Trump participated in his father’s campaigns in 2016 and 2020, but now focuses more on running the family business. In September, he and his brother started a crypto platform called World Liberty Financial, and their father helped launch it in an interview on the X social media platform.”
Eric and his wife, Lara, have two children: Eric Luke, 7, and Carolina Dorothy Trump, 5.

Tiffany Trump is Trump’s sole child with second wife Marla Maples. She kept a low profile when Trump was first elected, and while was more present in the 2024 campaign, she still largely avoids the spotlight.
Tiffany, 31, and her husband, Michael Boulos, are expecting their first child this year. Boulos is a businessman who traveled with Trump in the final stretch of the campaign. His father is Massad Boulos, a Lebanese American businessman who helped Trump with the influential Arab American community in the swing state of Michigan. Trump has named Massad Boulos to be a senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs.

Barron Trump is currently a freshman New York University business student. He graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 17, 2024. Barron towers over his parents at a reported 6’9″.
His parents and Trump campaign officials credit him for recommending podcasts popular with young men that the president-elect appeared on during the campaign. Barron will have a bedroom in the White House, Melania Trump said on “Fox & Friends.”
Donald Trump said Barron had helped introduce him to people he had never heard of before.
“He was very good,” the president-elect told NBC News in a telephone interview Saturday. “It’s the new wave. And he was very helpful.”
His mother had told “Fox & Friends” last year that “I’m very proud of him, about his knowledge, even about politics and giving an advice to his father. He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation.”

Kai Trump, Trump’s oldest grandchild, is an aspiring social media influencer. Her behind-the-scenes video from election night garnered 3.7 million views on YouTube. Other posts related to her grandfather have been watched millions more times on TikTok. Kai delivered her first public speech at the Republican convention and is an avid golfer who sometimes plays with her grandfather.
“If I’m not on his team, he’ll try to get inside of my head, and he’s always surprised that I don’t let him get to me,” she said at the convention. “But I have to remind him, I’m a Trump, too.”

Melania Trump’s congressional address guests include Comperatore family, Marc Fogel, mother and sister of Laken Riley
A teenage girl bullied with AI-generated deepfakes, the family of the firefighter killed during the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and the mother and sister of slain student Laken Riley are among those headed to the US Capitol Tuesday evening where President Donald Trump is set to deliver an address to a joint session of Congress.
Trump’s remarks will both touch on his accomplishments of the first six weeks of his presidency and offer a preview of upcoming priorities as he has reimagined the use of executive authority, shifted the role of the US in the world and transformed the size and scope of the federal government. The theme of Tuesday’s address, according to the White House, is “the renewal of the American dream.”
And the guest list for first lady Melania Trump’s box could offer a blueprint for what to expect from the speech. Each guest has a connection to a Trump administration policy.
The first lady’s 15 guests represent key administration accomplishments – from an executive order banning transgender women from women’s sports to its efforts to bring home Marc Fogel, an American who was wrongfully imprisoned by Russia. They also represent issues the administration has vowed to tackle, including a push by the first lady to pass a bill to protect Americans from AI-generated deepfake and revenge pornography to the economy and border security.
“These men, women, and families come from all different walks of life with incredible stories about the disaster wrought by the previous administration, and the historic achievements President Trump has already enacted,” the White House said in a statement.
Here’s who to watch for during Tuesday’s speech:
Helen, Allyson, and Kaylee Comperatore, the widow and daughters of Corey Comperatore, a firefighter shot and killed during the attempted assassination of Trump, will be among the first lady’s guests. Corey Comperatore died trying to protect his family, according to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, shielding them from bullets that ultimately took his life.
There will be multiple guests representing Trump’s border security policies, including Alexis Nungaray, the mother of a 12-year-old, Jocelyn, who was murdered when she went on a walk to a Houston convenience store. Two undocumented immigrants from Venezuela have been charged with her murder.
Allyson and Lauren Phillips, the mother and sister of Laken Riley, will also be in attendance. Riley, a 22-year old Georgia student, was killed last year while out for a run. An undocumented migrant from Venezuela was convicted and sentenced to life without parole. Trump’s first major legislative victory, the Laken Riley Act, requires detention of undocumented migrants charged with certain crimes.
And Roberto Ortiz, an agent with Customs and Border Protection, “has been shot at repeatedly by cartel members while performing his duties near the Rio Grande River in Texas,” according to the White House.
The Trumps will welcome Stephanie Diller, the widow of Jonathan Diller, a New York City Police Department officer who was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Queens in March 2024 . During the 2024 campaign, then-candidate Trump attended a memorial service for Diller.
“We have to get back to law and order,” he said after the service.
Trump is likely to highlight his executive action to deliver on a political issue central to his 2024 campaign, banning transgender women from competing in women’s sports, during his remarks Tuesday.
The first lady will host Payton McNabb, “a former high school athlete who had her dreams of competing in college sports crushed in a September 2022 volleyball match when a biological man playing on the opposing women’s team spiked the volleyball at Payton’s face, leaving her with a traumatic brain injury,” according to the White House.
The first lady is also hosting January Littlejohn, “a mother and parents’ rights advocate who sued the School Board of Leon County after school officials at her daughter’s middle school socially transitioned her daughter to a different sexual identity without January and her husband’s knowledge or permission,” per the White House.
Marc Fogel, an American teacher wrongfully detained for more than three years in Russia, returned to the US last month through a deal negotiated by President Trump, Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, “and the President’s advisers,” according to a statement from national security adviser Mike Waltz.
Joined by his 95-year-old mother Malphine, Fogel’s release marked the start of US talks with Russia as the president has sought to position himself as a dealmaker to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine. Trump has subsequently suspended aid to war-torn Ukraine.
The president is likely to highlight kitchen table issues and domestic manufacturing during his address on Tuesday, coinciding with planned tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China.
Jeff Denard will be among the Trumps’ guests. Denard, per the White House, “has spent nearly three decades working at a steel plant owned by Nucor Steel. His good paying, middle class job at the steel plant has allowed Jeff to serve as volunteer firefighter, provide a loving home to dozens of foster children, and organize his fellow steelworkers to respond to natural disasters, including Hurricane Helene.”
In her first public remarks of her husband’s second term, Melania Trump went to Capitol Hill on Monday to push for the passage of the “TAKE IT DOWN” Act, a bill aimed at protecting Americans from AI-generated deepfake and revenge pornography. Elliston Berry, 15, joined Trump to tell her story.
“They superimposed her (Elliston’s) face into pornographic content without her consent, solely to humiliate her. And although Elliston’s family contacted the social media companies for help, their efforts fell upon deaf ears. Ultimately, the fake images circulated worldwide,” the first lady said.
Elliston will be sitting with the first lady.
Trump is also seeking to highlight the foster care community through her “Foster the Future” initiative. Haley Ferguson, a former foster child, is a college student studying elementary education who received a scholarship from that initiative, according to the White House.

President Donald Trump is delivering his address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night, announcing his plans for his first term in office.
Attendees at the speech include senators, representatives and invited guests. First lady Melania Trump invited about 15 guests- but who were the two women seated next to her?
As President Trump was entering the room, the first lady was seen standing next to Elliston Berry, Haley Ferguson and Alexis Nungaray.
Elliston Berry is a 15-year-old from Aledo, Texas. Berry, a victim of artificial intelligence deepfake pornography, was in Washington Monday, joining the first lady and Rep. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to talk about her experience in combination with a bill introduced by Cruz.
The bill, called the Take it Down Act, makes it unlawful to knowingly publish “non-consensual intimate imagery, including ‘digital forgeries’ created with AI software (or deepfake pornography), and require social media and similar websites to have in place procedures to remove such content upon notification form a victim,” according to a 2024 release.
The bill has been passed in the Senate.
Berry was 14 years old when a classmate used an image of her on social media to create fake naked photos of her with a computer program.
Following the roundtable discussion with the first lady on Monday, Berry joined Melania Trump’s box at the address.
Alexis Nungaray is the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, a twelve-year-old murdered in Houston.
The two suspects charged with capital murder were found to be undocumented migrants.
Jocelyn’s mother, Alexis, has been an advocate for an act called the Justice for Jocelyn Act, which includes legislation surrounding undocumented migrants awaiting court dates.
Tennessee-native Haley Ferguson is a senior at Middle Tennessee State University and former foster child. She received the Fostering the Future scholarship created by the first lady as part of her “Be Best” campaign, which focuses on battling cyberbullying and promoting youth well-being.
The scholarship aims to prepare its recipients to enter the workforce and reach financial independence.
