NFL’s Ben Cleveland Files To Divorce Wife Two Weeks After DUI Arrest
NFL offensive lineman Ben Cleveland filed to divorce his wife a little over two weeks after he was arrested for DUI, TMZ Sports has learned.
Court records we obtained show the Baltimore Ravens guard submitted the docs in Baldwin County, Ga. on Feb. 28 … just 16 days after he was thrown behind bars following claims he had been drinking and driving in the same county.
The docs make no mention of the arrest … Cleveland stated in them that he was seeking to split from Kaitlyn Terrell Cleveland “because of adultery.”
Ben also wrote in the docs the two got married in July 21, 2022 … and formally separated on or about Dec. 29, 2024.
We’ve reached out to Ben’s attorney for comment, but so far, no word back yet.
As we previously reported, the footballer was jailed just two days before Valentine’s Day last month — after cops say he blew a .178 during a traffic stop. The 6-foot-7, 315-pounder was issued two citations — one for DUI – alcohol and another for failure to maintain lane — over the allegations.
The 26-year-old — who’s played for the Ravens since 2021 after being selected by the team in the third round — is slated to hit free agency when the new league year opens later this month.

Just weeks after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Baltimore Ravens guard Ben Cleveland has filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn Terrell.
According to court documents obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE, the 26-year-old NFL player filed for divorce in Baldwin County, Ga. on Friday, Feb. 28.
Cleveland cites the reason for his split from Terrell as “adultery” in the filing.
The Ravens guard lists the official split date as on or around December 29, 2024, per the documents. Terrell and Cleveland married on July 21, 2022.

PEOPLE has reached out to Terrell and Cleveland for comment. Neither has spoken out on social media regarding the split.
The divorce filing comes just two weeks after Cleveland was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Baldwin County, according to a release from the NFL on Feb. 17. He was reportedly pulled over in Milledgeville on the evening of Feb. 12.
According to the police incident report, per the NFL’s release, the Ravens player was swerving on the road and weaving between lanes. The report said that the arresting officer smelled alcohol coming from Cleveland’s vehicle and his eyes looked glossy.

A field sobriety test was conducted by the officer and Cleveland was arrested after registering a .178 blood alcohol content level, which is more than double the legal limit.
His DUI arrest was not mentioned in the divorce filing, per the documents.
Cleveland was drafted in the third round by the Ravens in 2021. He’s played in 54 games total.

Ben Cleveland has officially filed for divorce from his wife Kaitlyn. The Baltimore Ravens lineman reportedly submitted documents in Baldwin County, Georgia, on February 28. The 26-year-old NFL star has mentioned “adultery” as the cause of their split.

The divorce paper submission comes sixteen days after Cleveland’s arrest for drunk driving in Georgia. According to reports, Cleveland was pulled over by a sheriff’s deputy near Milledgeville, Georgia.
The sheriff’s report revealed Cleveland’s black pickup truck left the roadway at one point. The truck then turned “and entered the opposite lane of travel, nearly going into the ditch,” a Baldwin County sheriff’s deputy mentioned in the report. Cleveland agreed to do a blood-alcohol test after authorities asked him to pull over. He blew a .178 during a traffic stop, which is over the legal limit in Georgia, the report detailed.
Ben Cleveland tied the knot with Kaitlyn in July 2022. The NFL player proposed to her in Las Vegas two years before their official marriage. Cleveland also took to Instagram to share the happy news after the proposal.
He wrote, “2 years and then some until you’re actually my wife. Not sure, we haven’t really started wedding planning yet and we’ve been engaged 6 months so that’s on her. But she’s gonna be my wife so that’s kinda cool.”
Reports also state that Ben Cleveland and Kaitlyn were last seen together on December 26, 2024. Kaitlyn shared a series of snaps on Instagram from the Ravens’ Christmas Day game against the Houston Texans. The carousel featured images of Ben and Kaitlyn. Currently, Kaitlyn has made her Instagram private.
According to US Weekly, Kaitlyn shared a series of photos from the Virgin Islands on February 7. She captioned the series, writing, “A one-way flight has never sounded better.” She also attended a Mardi Gras celebration in Alabama, presumably without the NFL star weeks before the divorce paper’s submission.
